• To coordinate and enhance advocacy for Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in South Asia.
• To create platforms for interaction between endocrinologists of South Asia.
• To provide opportunities for training in state of the art clinical care, research and education related to Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in South Asia.
1. To promote and coordinate the activities of the Endocrine Societies of the South Asian region
2. To advance the knowledge and practice of endocrinology diabetes and metabolism in the South Asian region
3. To promote research in the field of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in the South Asian region with special emphasis on the endocrine problems specific to this region
4. To organize state of art scientific meetings / CME programs / workshops to spread the knowledge of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in the member countries
5. To facilitate public education regarding endocrine, diabetes, and metabolic health in the South Asia region
6. To spearhead public advocacy related to Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in the South Asia region
7. To network and coordinate with Endocrine and Diabetes societies in other parts of the world
8. To publish e-journal / e-newsletter / SA consensus statements
9. To encourage networking between endocrinologists of the South Asia region
